CAN Bus Multiplex Trainer
The ConsuLab MP-1918-1D is a CAN Bus Multiplex trainer that communicates in J-1939 protocol. Digital and analog inputs and outputs can be activated. Analog signals can be displayed using the J-1939 display. The trainer utilizes the “Moduponent®” design feature which allows unlimited expansion capabilities. This unit is equipped with an integrated electronic fault box containing 12 faults.
The training aid includes a complete curriculum to make teaching CAN Bus as easy as possible.
The CAN Bus training system can be purchased as a single-sided (-1S) or double-sided (-1D) training system, or used in combination with the ConsuLab Automotive Lighting System trainer CL-MP-1918.

Multiplex Network Diagnostic Trainer

Alternator Trainer with PCM-Controlled Regulation
The EM-500-03 trainer allows instructors to demonstrate the operation of automotive charging systems controlled by a PCM. The synoptic diagram and the layout of all the control and instrumentation units provide clear and simple operation explanations to the user. The trainer is very reliable and equipped with all safety equipment required for demonstration. The EM-500-03 alternator trainer with a PCM controlled voltage regulator contains a variable speed drive that modulates alternator input (engine speed) as in an actual vehicle. The alternator has been modified to accommodate a load current of 25A in order to demonstrate the full load charging characteristic and allow the regulator to run at 100% capacity. This trainer can be used to help students understand the operation and common testing procedures of the charging system with PCM controlled regulation.

Evap Systems Trainer
The ConsuLab EM-200-22 EVAP System trainer is designed as a functional evaporative emissions system based on a Chevrolet Cobalt platform. Perfect for automotive classrooms, the Evap System Trainer is designed to teach students automotive fundamentals in an immersive and intuitive way.
It can be used to teach the operational functions of a typical evaporative emission system. It also has the capability of demonstrating the cause and effect of having a small and/or large system leak. Students are able to visualize the components of the system and can hookup test equipment to learn how system leaks will affect performance.
The fuel tank contains an internal lamp heater for demonstration of internal pressure changes. Requires a 12 VDC power supply to operate, and includes a complete curriculum and student activities.
