  • Truck Single Zone Automatic HVAC System Trainer

Do you struggle to teach truck, heavy equipment and agriculture automatic HVAC Systems? The HV-101A trainer provides demonstration of the functionality of a cab HVAC system without the extensive cost and space requirements of a full vehicle.

  • Evap Systems Trainer

The ConsuLab EM-200-22 EVAP System trainer is designed as a functional evaporative emissions system based on a Chevrolet Cobalt platform. Perfect for automotive classrooms, the Evap System Trainer is designed to teach students automotive fundamentals in an immersive and intuitive way.

It can be used to teach the operational functions of a typical evaporative emission system. It also has the capability of demonstrating the cause and effect of having a small and/or large system leak. Students are able to visualize the components of the system and can hookup test equipment to learn how system leaks will affect performance.

The fuel tank contains an internal lamp heater for demonstration of internal pressure changes. Requires a 12 VDC power supply to operate, and includes a complete curriculum and student activities.

  • Stand-Alone Heavy Vehicle HVAC Trainer

The HV-101 Heavy Vehicle HVAC System is based on a Freightliner Business Class M2 commercial truck and has been specifically designed for the instruction of air conditioning systems used in heavy duty vehicles. The trainer is designed and constructed using brand new OEM components and has been engineered with respect to OEM design and function. The trainer is equipped with an electrical break out box providing easily accessible electrical test points for the HVAC control head. Clear sight glasses have been installed in the high side (liquid) and low side (suction vapor) lines at the H-Block TXV that allow students to observe the changes of state of the refrigerant.

  • Cutaway Hydraulic Clutch System Trainer

The ConsuLab EC-1120 is an actual working Hydraulic Clutch, made with all new components so that students can visualize the actual operation of hydraulic clutches. This hydraulic clutch training system is designed to make automotive and heavy truck instructors’ lives easier.

    The training system provides:

    • Total visibility of all clutch components without the limitations of working under a vehicle.
    • Takes the mystery out of clutch operation.
    • Sits on a bench or tabletop to allow more student access and visibility of operation.
    • All new Honda clutch components are used.
  • Cutaway Diesel Exhaust After-Treatment System

The ConsuLab EC-490 Cutaway Diesel Exhaust System Trainer allows students to view the components of a diesel exhaust aftertreatment system using LED’s and electronic controls to help learners understand the function, and effect on, diesel engine exhaust gases following the combustion cycle.

The trainer uses multiple colored LED’s to represent the gases that flow in the exhaust system and, demonstrates the chemical reactions within each of the aftertreatment processes.

  • Cutaway Active Brake Booster and Master Cylinder

The ConsuLab EC-122 cutaway allows to visually demonstrate the operation and internal parts of a vacuum brake booster and master cylinder.  The trainer is equipped with a braking handle that simulates the brake pedal for educational purposes.  On a vehicle when the driver depresses the brake pedal, the movement is transformed into hydraulic pressure that is delivered to hydraulic cylinders at the four wheels through pipes and hoses using an incompressible fluid.

  • Cutaway Thermostatic Expansion Valve with H-Block

The ConsuLab Cutaway TXV H-Block EC-2100 training aid is designed to demonstrate the internal operation of a typical Thermostatic Expansion Valve  H-block used to control refrigerant flow in today’s HVAC systems.
